BrightRoll #1 in Video Ad Viewers and Streams, According to comScore

BrightRoll has raised the bar in October with record-setting unique viewers and video ads streamed, according to the U.S. online video rankings released by comScore.

The October ranking is a significant milestone for the company: BrightRoll is number one in reach with 152 million unique viewers AND it served the highest number of video ads, surpassing YouTube for the first time.

Here’s a look at the top three video properties by video ads served in October 2012:

– BrightRoll: 1.8 billion ads
– Google Sites: 1.7 billion ads
– Hulu: 1.5 billion ads

As people increasingly integrate digital into their everyday lives, and go online for significant industry events (e.g. Super Bowl, Olympics, Presidential Election), advertisers continue to go digital to reach audiences where they are most engaged. During the month of October, Americans viewed more than 11 billion video ads, with the top 5 video ad properties delivering more than 1 billion video ads each.

Along with the number one ranking for video ads served, BrightRoll also held the primary position for reaching the most unique viewers.
